We had a double concret...I can't be that old can I? We had a double concrete tub when I was a kid and a copper. By the time I came along mum had a wringer washing machine but I remember dad using the copper to make soap - which mum then had to grate and use in the washing machine. I remember her complaining that it was horrible to use and didn't lather. One of Dad's money saving ideas!
