Plumbago: just delightful on the table for a summer evening - it's so free flowering you can pick and pick and there's still more. Don't even need a vase, just trail it around the glasses and dishes on a pretty cloth. Another summer favourite.

That is pretty. It looks a bit like hydrangea which I love. Do you know if it would grow in a northerly climate? I don't know exactly what Australia's climate is like. It would be great to have something I can pick and still have flowers in the garden.
We've got one growing in our Victorian garden. I've never thought to do anything with it besides water it and admire it!!
As we basically live in our door area in the summer, I'll have to try your ideas! Ours was a rather sad little plant when we bought the house 3 years ago but with just a little TLC, it has really grown!
