Sometimes, the bush and the natural world is just what you need to feed your soul. But other times, 'Kansas' ain't enough, and the angularities and built environment and people-bustle of the city centre feed your soul too. The Kinokuniya bookshop in Sydney is HUGE and comprehensive (although weak on quilt history, but that's a fairly specialised area after all - I catch it out there, but find so much else that my brain spins) and a great place for an afternoon browse.
I like to read? True of me, my whole life. I love to read. I still believe the book is a magnificent piece of accessible technology for mind and heart and imagination.
