Vintage bread bins

0610 vintage bread bins

Visited a shop with a cornucopia of vintage home wares this afternoon. There are more photos in this Flickr set. I could wander in this shop for ages, just looking and wondering and turning each corner into each room and noticing something else - vintage bread boards and washing boards, quilts, buttons, silverware (hard to photograph, poorer light), doyleys and cups and saucers and vintage lacrosse sticks and - and- and-

Among all the big stuff, there were a few miniatures. So I photographed the big stuff and invested in a couple of things for dollhouse use. As you would.

Those pictures are wonderful - hope you don't mind but I linked to them from my blog...

Where is this fab shop?

Glad the photos are finding friends.

The shop is Peppergreen, in Berrima NSW (the Southern Highlands, between Sydney and Canberra). They source a lot of their stuff from England. Expect many delights, but not necessarily bargains - it's not that kind of vintage shop.

If there is something for your dollhouse you are not able to find I could look over here and send it to you. We do a lot of ebay and are good at shipping. Let me know.
