I love those Japanese fabrics. I have some of them too! My Japanese homestay brought them back with him last year. They are rayon aren't they. I haven't used mine for anything yet.
I'd guess they're some kind of synthetic - certainly, I'd be cautious with an iron, partly because of their possible content and partly because of their texture.
Sometimes a photo a day, to make me look more closely and see what is around me to be considered and captured, using the immediacy of digital photography. And possibly the odd rant, from time to time. Things made, found, discovered. A cornucopia. On the One Vivid Leaf blog, crochet!
