One of the kids took this photo on Christmas Day - the extended family gathered, requiring as you can see more than one table to seat us all. I love the simplicity of this photo - the two mismatched tables, the simple vase of white roses from the garden, the backdrop of space to play backyard cricket and conduct serious waterpistol warfare, the gum trees of the bush beyond the garden. A simple, joyful family day, as it should be. The best sort of perfect, that isn't trying for some distant standard, but better, wiser, more achievable perfection.
Sometimes a photo a day, to make me look more closely and see what is around me to be considered and captured, using the immediacy of digital photography. And possibly the odd rant, from time to time. Things made, found, discovered. A cornucopia. On the One Vivid Leaf blog, crochet!
