And here's the seventh in the series of quiltlets I'm designing for Australian Patchwork & Quilting magazine. Gundagai is in volume 17 number 6, out now so you have time to do a bit of Valentine prep, if you so wish.
I used one of the Clover yo yo makers for this one, and it made a heart-shaped yo yo much easier to achieve. The colours came from the striped background fabric, varied intensities of reds and pinks to suit the heart idea. An easy one to make, and fun.
Added later: Candy asked in the comments about the yoyo maker. Yes, it's one that makes heart shapes. More info here. They're fairly readily available in Australian quilting shops.
